Columbus Race for the Cure - May 15, 2010

That's how many came out to the race on Saturday in downtown Columbus, Ohio for Komen Columbus' Race for the Cure. I am thrilled to be a part and honored to have my friends and family participate with me. AND my countless loved ones who supported from afar. There will be pictures to follow... Danni B. took some and so did mom. So once I get them, I'll will put them up in a slideshow like last year!

We Did It! Race for the Cure Completed

Good Job everyone! There were 45,546 people who participated in Race for the Cure yesterday! Pink Afterthoughts team did their thing and we call finished! We did a great job!



Nana came to the finish line. And dinner was fabulous at the end of the day. Thank you to Mandy of Manorhouse Flowers!

Race for the Cure Tomorrow: Do It 'Cause it's Pink!

So tomorrow is the big day! Let's kiss Cancer Goodbye!

Race for the Cure is going to take place tomorrow! And I'm going to be there! Are you? I ran this morning with my trainer and found my body was a bit dehydrated. Bleh!!!!

So I'm pounding water. Pounding it! I also found my suits don't fit the same. Stupid weightlifting! But me and my girls are going to do the race in our little team PINK AFTERTHOUGHTS. Some will run 5K, some will walk! And my Nana will be at the finish line waiting for us!!

Team: Pink Afterthoughts - Race for the Cure

Here we go people!! It's April 1st. Let's do this!

After a terrific response from my friends and family it's registration time!

You are invited to join the Pink Afterthoughts for Susan G. Komen Columbus Race for the Cure 2009. The name is in honor of JoAnne Bell and Maxine Hartley who are Danielle's grandmothers who are survivors. AND in honor of all my friends' relatives and loved ones who's lives have been affected by cancer.

If you have any questions, let me know. If you want to register, I'll send you the link. The website is pretty simple. I (Bella) am doing the 5K run, but you can sign up for the walk or run it like it looks like. If you are doing this by yourself and not sure yet, give me a call and we can discuss. (p.s. did you know you save a little money on registration by signing up with a team?)
